Steve Stephens, the Cleveland kill presume who posted video of the killing on Facebook, killed himself in Pennsylvania after a police pursue, officers said Tuesday. Somebody recognized Stephens' white Ford Fusion in the parking area of a McDonald's close Erie and called experts, Pennsylvania State Police said. Stephens fled, and state troopers gave pursue. One trooper played out a "PIT" move, a key method for slamming an auto to cripple it.
"As the vehicle was turning wild from the PIT move, Stephens pulled a gun and shot himself in the head," Pennsylvania State Police said. For two days, law enforcement search to find Stephens, the man wanted for the death of Robert Godwin, a self-trained repairman and granddad of 14 kids.
